Duration:

One day cupping course provided in a face to face workshop style from 9am-5pm with a short break for lunch. A small handout covering the slides and information will be handed to each participant.

Enrolment fees for this course are based on the costs per subject as indicated below. Subject costs identified as Full Fee receive no government subsidy. Concessions are not available. The fees below apply unless training as an apprentice or trainee.

Likely Job Outcome:

Provides the skills and knowledge to add to the current therapist technique toolbox. This is an additional tool used in a variety of massage and soft tissue pain presentations. This builds on the diploma of remedial massage.

Additional Information

Students are required to enrol before the course start date; The fee involves use of Vacuum cups and materials provided by ɬÀï·¬for the duration of the course only. The fee does not include cupping equipment - this should be purchased at the cessation of the course by the student. There is no additional materials or cost associated with the one off payment.

Entry Requirements

Students must have attained their diploma of remedial massage or be in the final stages of their diploma qualification at CIT. Diploma level or above education is considered a foundation skill needed to successfully complete the workshop.

Allied health practitioners such as physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractic will need to provide evidence of successful completion before enrolling.

To study any course at ɬÀï·¬(excluding non-accredited training) you must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).

      The purpose of this subject is to provide an additional technique to complement their existing therapist toolbox. Cupping can enhance current techniques or be used as a stand alone treatment approach.
