Australian Apprenticeships (Apprenticeships and Traineeships)
Australian Apprenticeships combine paid work and structured training in many occupations, and allow you to learn a trade or workplace skills while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.
- includes apprentices, trainees, Australian School-based Apprenticeships (ASbAs)
- can be undertaken, full-time, part-time or while at school
- duration for apprenticeships is usually 3-4 years and traineeships 1-2 years
