ɬÀï·¬bronze award recipients at national training awards

The Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) has won the Bronze Award in the 2022 Australian Training Awards Award in the Large Training Provider of the Year category.
Interim Chief Executive Officer, Christine Robertson, said the award was a great honour and something all ɬÀï·¬staff and students, as well as the ACT community, could be proud of.
"The Australian Training Awards are the peak national awards showcasing the best in vocational education and training across Australia. The Large Training Provider of the Year Award recognises registered training organisations that demonstrate excellence and high-level performance in all aspects of VET, so it is a great honour to be recognised," Ms Robertson said.
"ɬÀï·¬trains over 20,000 students each year, touching more lives post-secondary school than any other tertiary education institution in the ACT. We are a dynamic, future-focused and diverse learning institute, and we play a major role in the development of the ACT's future workforce and skill base."
"Our core business is the delivery of high-quality VET programs and services to meet the needs of a diverse customer base - locally, nationally and internationally. Our skilled and dedicated staff are committed to achieving strong student outcomes for our talented and diverse student cohort."
Several ɬÀï·¬staff and students also represented ɬÀï·¬as Australian Training Awards finalists, including Richard Lindsay, who won the VET Teacher/Trainer of the Year Award.
"The Awards are a fitting recognition of the talent, dedication, and passion of our staff and students who do the ACT proud, each and every day," Ms Robertson said.
