Microsoft 365 account - Activate before attending onsite at CIT
As part of our commitment to a better and more flexible study environment, ɬÀï·¬is introducing the Microsoft 365 platform and changing the way you authenticate to ɬÀï·¬systems.
In order to use Microsoft 365 and to access other ɬÀï·¬systems, you are required to activate your Microsoft 365 account before attending class.
Your new account
If you are currently enrolled in Semester 1, 2021, you will have received an email from ɬÀï·¬to trigger the process to activate your ɬÀï·¬Microsoft 365 account. This email contains all information to activate your account.
Didn't get an email invitation to activate your ɬÀï·¬M365 account?
Please browse to and enter your ɬÀï·¬student account number in the format CIT****@students.cit.edu.au and follow the prompts to reset your password.
During the process, if the email address or mobile number listed for you in Banner are incorrect, it will be necessary to contact Student Services to fix those details.
Activation
Once the password is reset, your account will begin the activation process. Once the activation process is complete (approx. 2 hours) you will receive a further email indicating your account is now ready.
Please note that your new password must now be used access all ɬÀï·¬business systems including Self-Service and onsite computers.
