This course provides the basic safety and rescue training required to work in the wind turbine industry.
The course is accredited by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO). ɬÀï·¬is an exclusive provider of GWO certified training in the ACT and surrounding regional NSW.

Additional Information
The course is internationally accredited by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) to deliver the required safety and rescue training to work in the wind industry. While this training is not Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) under the VET Quality Framework, ɬÀï·¬has also mapped the GWO qualification across to several Australian Units of Competency which you will also be awarded upon successful completion of the course. You will be supplied with appropriate PPE. Participants have the option to bring their own full body safety harnesses for use during this course, provided that they are compliant with the industry standard.
Entry Requirements
Open to people working in the wind industry or those seeking a career in the wind industry. It is recommended that participants are physically fit and able to work at heights.
Skills Recognition
To study any course at ɬÀï·¬(excluding non-accredited training) you must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).
Literacy Skills Information
We suggest that you will need Australian Core Skills Framework levels of at least 2 across reading, writing, learning, oral communication and, depending on your course of study, numeracy skills to successfully complete this course. If you do not have this level, you can still enrol and seek support to improve your skills or you may prefer to begin with a lower level course, or enrol in the Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways (FSK20119) to develop your literacy skills. Transition Information
Qualifications at ɬÀï·¬are regularly updated or replaced to meet current industry needs and maximise your employment opportunities. If this occurs while you are part way through a qualification, you may need to vary your learning to meet the new national requirements. ɬÀï·¬will aim to make this as smooth as possible for you.
