Overview
This training will provide plumbers with the skills and knowledge to:
Identify and comply with legal and risk management requirements of a business, including negotiating, planning for legal contracts.
Read and interpret plans and specifications applicable to residential and commercial projects.
Use the National Construction Code (NCC) classifications:
- Residential - Class 1 and 10 buildings, maximum two storeys
- Commercial - Class 2 to 9, Type C only constructions.
Estimate materials, labour and time requirements to establish quotations for services to a Class 1 building.

You must:
- hold a CPC32413 Certificate III in Plumbing (or equivalent)
- or hold a current Journeyperson or Plumbing Registration

Literacy Skills Information
We suggest that you will need Australian Core Skills Framework literacy levels of at least 3 across reading, writing, learning, oral communication and, depending on your course of study, numeracy skills to successfully complete this course.
